What the service is

Sitara provides Vedic astrology readings generated with the help of artificial intelligence from birth charts calculated from the details you enter, and optional video consultations with astrologers.

Astrology describes tendencies and timing according to a traditional system. It is not a science and does not predict events with certainty. Nothing in the service is medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice; for such decisions please consult a qualified professional.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to buy credits or book consultations. Keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in codes are sent there.

Only enter birth details of other people (for example family members) with their knowledge.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid right to receive AI answers in Sitara. One answer uses the number of credits shown in the app. A credit is used only when an answer is delivered.

Credits are not money, cannot be converted to cash, withdrawn or transferred to another account, and are not a wallet or stored-value instrument. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Free and promotional credits may expire as shown in the app.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include GST.

Consultations

Consultations are one-to-one video sessions of the length shown when booking. The rules for rescheduling, cancellation and no-shows shown at booking form part of these terms.

Astrologers give their own professional opinion. Please do not share bank details, passwords or other sensitive information during a session.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, no automated scraping, no harassment of astrologers or staff, and no use for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Sitara is not liable for decisions you make based on readings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
